RESEARCH INTEREST

Quest for interconnection between applied and basic research in the fields of:

Molecular mechanisms of persistance, dissemination of dairy associated bacterial pathogens.

Molecular mechanisms of pathogenesis, fitness and stress response of the opportunistic pathogen Cronobacter spp.

Establishing a research branch exlpoiting the zebrafish embryo as an infection model to study the pathogenesis of human pathogens
